A "nerd" is a small, tiny even, piece of sugary sour goodness. Typically, they come in small boxes and have a flavored coating. A girl at the office generally has a nice big bowl of the little "Nerd" boxes fully stocked.
No, when I eat them I pour out a handful and then pick out the smaller ones and save the bigger ones for last.
